Ring: Production Environment

Focus on these 5 points to analyze, demonstrate, problem points, ask three levels and ask three levels, no question can escape these 5 points!

1.The CNC machining plane is uneven, not only

In the machining of CNC machining parts, the finishing of the surface is an important process, and it is also a process that is often done, and the quality of the surface is relatively high. However, in actual CNC machining, sometimes uneven and not-so-flat surfaces are obtained, which do not meet the requirements.

The main reason for this problem is that during finishing, the feed rate is too fast, and the vibration of the tool during rapid movement can easily leave an uneven path on the CNC machining surface. In addition, another problem is that in the finishing of the opposite side, sometimes there will be a certain difference in the tool marks between two adjacent tool paths, which is caused by the inconsistent cutting direction of the tool. This should be avoided. The problem is that the CNC machining method of full down milling should be used.

2. The tool marks on the finishing side are too obvious

In the workpiece processing of CNC machine tools, almost every workpiece requires fine milling of the side, and many times there is a problem that the tool marks on the fine milling side are too obvious. This is absolutely not allowed, and will seriously affect the appearance of the workpiece.

The main reason for this problem is the improper selection of the position and parameters of the advance and retraction, and the cutting of the knife in the depth layer. There are many kinds of processing software, and the milling methods provided by different processing software will also be different, but they all provide the choice of the depth of the cutting tool and the parameter selection of the entry and exit tools. In order to avoid the above-mentioned problems, relevant adjustments can be made from three aspects. The first is that the selection of the feed point should be correct, it should be selected at the most edge, not in the middle, and the exit point should not be on the same side; When advancing and retracting the knife, add an overlap; the third is to use full depth of cut when performing side finishing.

3. Tool change marks during fine milling

In ordinary machining and high-speed machining, tool replacement is required. If the parameters are not adjusted during the tool change operation, obvious traces will appear, which will seriously affect the appearance of CNC machined parts.

When performing fine milling on the bottom or side, the appearance of tool marks is a common phenomenon. Many times people think that this is an unavoidable error. In fact, it is completely avoidable. In CNC machining parts, the finishing of the concave corners needs to be replaced with small tools. Due to the force and swing during the CNC machining process, it is easy to produce traces of tool pick-up at the corners.

4. After finishing, leave burrs or sharp edges on the surface or side

The current CNC machined parts have higher and higher requirements on the surface, and the appearance of burrs or sharp edges is also unacceptable. If the CNC machined parts are corrected with a file, the accuracy and size of the CNC machined parts will also be affected. Etc., to be used directly after milling, no post-grinding is required. But in actual production, there will still be a lot of burrs and batches.

To solve this problem, the use of the tool must be very careful, and a special tool should be used to ensure sharp cutting. In addition, it is also necessary to do a good job in the planning of the tool path, and increase the secondary finishing tool path, that is, the surface is processed first, then the side surface is processed, and then the surface is processed, so as to ensure that there are no burrs and sharp edges. Polished CNC machined parts are useful.

5. Finishing of CNC machining parts for special shapes

For the finishing of some CNC machining parts with special shapes, the software usually has fitting errors. Sometimes if the calculated error is too large, the CNC machining parts will be deformed and the appearance will be affected. To solve this problem, it is necessary to start from the software and reasonably control the error, which will neither affect the calculation speed nor cause deformation to the CNC machined parts.

6. Serious tool wear causes errors

The precision of the tool directly affects the quality of the CNC machined parts, and the tool wears too fast during the CNC machining process, which will cause the deviation of the size of the CNC machined parts. The reasons for the rapid tool wear include its own material, workpiece material, cutting process parameters, cutting oil performance and other aspects. If the tool wears too fast, it should be stopped and the root cause should be found and eliminated before CNC machining.

The above are some common problems and precautions. A good process environment and rigorous process flow are the keys to improving the technological level of CNC machining parts.
